Heavenly Bodies – 35 Years of Drastic on Plastic

RTRFM and Cool Perth Nights present a night of screaming sirens, crooning chanteuses and soaring melodies to celebrate women in WA Music and RTRFM’s Drastic on Plastic show.

For thirty five years, Drastic on Plastic has been highlighting the vital role that women play in music, not only in providing a counterpoint to the male-dominated music industry, but as innovators and experimenters in their own right, and as spokespeople for their generations, their cultures and their gender.

Pull up a pew and soak in the sounds of Aikoka, Em Burrows and friends, Michelle Harpist, Ruby May, Rabbit Island and Stella Donnelly in the cavernous arched hall of St John’s Anglican Church.
